"Start/Stop/Start" is a 3-minuted animated video of hand-drawn elements. I painted each piece, scanned and added into animation software.

This video is a collection of imaginary mechanical elements interlinked across the screen. It is inspired by non-narrative early art films by artist Hans Richter and Viking Eggeling.

Designer Hye Jin Lee completed the animation and the soundtrack is by the composer, Skooby Laposky.

"Start/Stop/Start" was on view in 2019 a dedicated video room as part of the group show, "Take Five" at the University of Buffalo's Center for the Arts in Buffalo, New York.
